It works and sounds alright. I here what sounds like a bamboo wind chime and at times sounds bit raspy. Overall, I am pleased. If I compared it to other ocean drums my sense is I might not be as satisfied. There can be something soothing about seeing the beads move so that is one thing that I do miss. Still for the price I believe I am receiving what I need.
