Hluru Universal Pickup for Kalimba Thumb Piano Handpan Lyre Harp

F.A.Q.

• What instruments is this universal pickup compatible with?

This pickup is designed to work with a wide range of acoustic healing instruments, including kalimba, thumb piano, lyre harp, handpan, and tongue drum. Its universal magnetic patch design makes it incredibly versatile — whether you play one instrument or several, this single pickup travels with your entire healing sound practice, eliminating the need to invest in multiple separate systems.

• How long is the cable and what jack size does it use?

The pickup comes with a generous 6.6 ft (approx. 2 m) cable, giving you comfortable freedom of movement whether you're performing on stage or recording in a studio. It connects via a standard 6.5mm (approx. 0.26 inch) audio jack, which is universally compatible with amplifiers, audio interfaces, mixers, and PA systems — no adapters needed in most setups.

• Is this a genuine professional-grade magnetic pickup?

Absolutely. This is a professional magnetic patch pickup, engineered to capture the natural resonance and tonal nuances of your instrument with exceptional fidelity. Unlike cheaper clip-on mics that pick up ambient noise, the magnetic patch design focuses specifically on your instrument's vibrations, delivering a clean, pure signal that honors the healing quality of your sound — exactly as it was meant to be heard.

• Can I use this pickup during meditation sessions or live healing ceremonies?

Yes, and it truly shines in those settings. The discreet magnetic patch attaches securely without interrupting your flow or focus, so you can remain fully present in your meditation or sound healing ceremony. Simply connect it to an amp or speaker before your session begins, and let the amplified tones of your kalimba or handpan fill the room with effortless, resonant sound — reaching every participant deeply.

• How do I care for and store this pickup properly?

To keep your pickup performing at its best, store it in a dry, dust-free pouch or case when not in use, and avoid coiling the cable too tightly to prevent internal wire fatigue. Gently wipe the magnetic patch with a soft, dry cloth after each session. Keeping the 6.5mm jack clean and free of debris ensures a consistent, noise-free connection every time you plug in for a performance or practice.
