Portable Speaker Amplifier for Kalimba Handpan Steel Tongue Drum Lyre Harp

F.A.Q.

• Which instruments is this speaker amplifier compatible with?

This speaker is designed to work beautifully with a wide range of acoustic instruments that use a pickup, including kalimba, lyre, handpan, steel tongue drum, and similar instruments. As long as your instrument has a compatible pickup installed and you have the appropriate 6.5mm audio cable, you can connect and amplify your sound. Please note that the pickup and audio cable are not included and must be purchased separately.

• What are the dimensions of this speaker, and will it fit on my instrument setup?

The speaker measures 8.35 x 2.56 x 1.50 inches (approx. 212 x 65 x 38 mm), making it a compact and portable companion for your instrument. Its slim, elongated profile is thoughtfully sized to sit discreetly beside your kalimba or tongue drum without interrupting your playing space. Whether you use it on a tabletop, meditation mat, or during a sound bath session, it fits easily into your setup.

• Is this speaker really made of wood, and does it affect sound quality?

Yes! The enclosure is crafted from real natural wood, available in warm Walnut or Maple Wood tones. Wood is not just an aesthetic choice — it naturally resonates with acoustic instruments, contributing to a warmer, more organic sound character. The two 1.5-inch full-frequency speakers deliver 6W of clear, balanced output that complements the delicate tonal qualities of instruments like kalimba and lyre rather than overpowering them.

• Can I use this speaker wirelessly during a meditation or sound healing session?

Absolutely! This speaker features Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, allowing you to stream audio wirelessly for a clean, cord-free experience during your meditation or sound healing session. You can also connect directly via the 6.5mm wired input when using a pickup with your instrument. The built-in 1200mAh battery provides 5 to 6 hours of continuous play, so you can stay fully present in your practice without interruption.

• How do I charge the speaker, and how should I store it when not in use?

Charging is simple and convenient — just use the included USB cable with a standard 5V 500mA power source. A full charge takes approximately 2 hours and gives you 5 to 6 hours of playback. When storing, keep your speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to protect the natural wood finish. A soft pouch or cloth wrap is ideal to prevent scratches and preserve the beauty of the wood over time.
