Walter A16X WH-16 Lyre Harp 16-string Set

F.A.Q.

• What lyre harp models are these strings compatible with?

These strings are specifically designed to fit the WH-16 lyre harp, a popular 16-string model widely used by both beginners and experienced players. If you own this model, you can trust that each string in this set will fit correctly and deliver the clear, resonant tone your instrument was built to produce. Always verify your harp's string count and tuning range before installing any new set.

• Are these strings a good choice for beginners as well as experienced players?

Absolutely! This string set was thoughtfully designed to serve both hobbyists and professional musicians. Whether you're just discovering the meditative joy of lyre playing or you're a seasoned performer, these strings offer the consistency and playability needed to grow your practice. Beginners will appreciate how quickly they settle into tune, while experienced players will love the reliable tone quality across all 16 strings.

• Are these genuine, high-quality strings or budget replacements?

These are brand-quality strings engineered to meet the standards of musicians who expect the best from their instrument. They are not generic budget replacements — they are crafted to deliver consistent note clarity and a pleasing tonal response across the full range of the lyre. You can feel confident that your investment in this set will be reflected in the sound and feel of your playing from the very first note.

• Can I use these strings for sound healing or meditation sessions?

Yes, and many of our customers do exactly that! The lyre harp is a beloved instrument in sound healing and meditation circles for its pure, ethereal resonance. With this 16-string replacement set, you can maintain that pristine vibrational quality that makes the lyre so powerful in therapeutic and spiritual settings. Fresh, well-tuned strings make a noticeable difference in the depth and clarity of sound that flows through a session.

• How do I care for my lyre harp strings to extend their lifespan?

To keep your strings sounding their best, wipe them gently with a dry, soft cloth after each playing session to remove oils and moisture from your fingertips. Store your lyre in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity, as environmental extremes can cause strings to degrade or detune more quickly. Re-tuning regularly and handling the strings with care will help you enjoy clear, vibrant tones for as long as possible.
